Pink2orange – Designed by Zvika Bar
Zvika Bar is an artist and a designer. After he had finished his studies
in the Shenkar academy, Bar started working as a fashion designer.
His successful career later brought him to work as chief designer for
leading Israeli fashion companies, such as Honigman, Niba and Topper.
Using his long experience in textile design and production,
Bar later decided to address his work to a different area – specialized
design for living and working environments. All kinds of textiles,
including canvas, microfiber, satin, lame (metal cloth), combined with
other materials and special printing technology, became the raw material
for Bar’s new collection of home accessories.
Pillows, footstools, lamp shades, Puffs, printed pictures, decorative
clocks – all these product types, and many more, are produced by Bar
using innovative methods and materials.
The special printing technology and the wonderful designs enable
production of accessories, which are designed in accordance with the
client’s specific demands.
Furthermore, they enable professional services to fashion designers
and advertisers. Finally, with the production facilities being adjacent
to the shop, quick and reliable answer to any demand is made possible.
The shop, also housing the permanent show, is located in 27 Washington
Boulevard, Tel-Aviv.
The Concept
TOTAL LOOK: this is the core concept of Zvika Bar's work – the concept
of comprehensive design.
Bar gives both the private customer and the interior designer the ability
to fulfill their own fantasy of what living or working environment should
be like. This is done using groups of items, conforming to the same line
of colors and models.
When one decides update the living or working space to better suit one’s
own needs, there no longer any need to purchase expensive new furniture
when a few accessories produced by Zvika Bar could make the whole difference.
Bar also has an original solution for customers who are aware of ecological
matters: his Green Art collection, which uses recycled materials as basic
raw materials.
The interior design offered by Bar is kept up-to-date to latest fashion trends,
which are the very tools of Bar’s work.
This is the second part of the concept: HOME FASHION as an integral part of our life.
